Bio
Linda McKinley - Certified Mortgage Advisor (CO License
#100019452)
Linda McKinley knows the importance of building on solid
ground. Since moving from Denver to Glenwood Springs in 1976,
she has spent 30 years developing a personal brand that begins with
family, incorporates caring, practicality and experience, and
culminates with a strong sense of community.
Linda began her career on the Western Slope as a real estate
broker, and after twenty years in the business, transitioned into
mortgage lending. In 1994 she landed her first job as a loan
processor. She was soon appointed Branch Manager of the
office and plunged full speed into loan origination. Learning
the mortgage business from the ground up provided Linda a solid
foundation of knowledge and expertise.
Although her occupation is an important part of Linda's identity,
she is most devoted to her husband of 30 years, Bill, and daughter
Elli. Bill is a retired real estate broker, and Elli, a busy
college student, who enjoys outdoor sports. The McKinleys like to
cook and are avid readers, but traveling is their ultimate
escape.
Linda is also active in her community. At 24 years old she
joined the Jaycees to learn public speaking and leadership
skills. Over the years she has been a Chamber Ambassador,
President of the Glenwood Springs Jaycees and Regional Director of
the Colorado Jaycees. She is currently a member of the
Glenwood Springs Assn. of Realtors Affiliate Council and serves on
the board of the Youth Zone Foundation, a non-profit that supports
local youth and their families. Linda is also a member of the
Advisory Council of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Assn. Western
Chapter and the Lender Advisory Group of the Colorado Housing and
Finance Authority (CHFA).
How does Linda manage it all? With sound family support, a sturdy
business framework and her can-do attitude, everything builds from
there.
